Following breakdown of the exhaust manifold heat shielding on the inner wings (and a frazzled footwell carpet), I tried Agriemach self adhesive Thermo Tech tape. This lasted 3k miles, but is now peeling off (the tape is fine - it's the adhesive that can't take the temps). Any such thing as a (very) high temp adhesive ? Or any other ideas to avoid removing manifolds and re-riveting?

Thanks in advance.

Exhaust wrap? Demon Tweeks have pages full of temperature control products in their Motorsport catalogue, may be worth a look.

I've had the same issue. Offord reckoned they could rivet some new heat shielding down there with little trouble. (The existing stuff is riveted in place, at least at the corners)

I stopped it happening again with a lower temp otter switch which seems to prevent the car getting *quite* as hot as it did.
