I do have a Mini as a second car, but dont see the point as the Chim has been perfectly reliable.

Added to which, bizzarely, I dont want to put the mileage on the Mini!

Matt.

Picked up yesterday my second car is an Impreza 2000 Turbo, although as it is to be my weekday workhorse for trundling the dogs around and going to the tip...I got the estate version.
Or , there is always Mrs Smiles' Metro.

Currently 2nd car is a Rover 800 Vitesse.fast but very dated interior. 3rd car is saab 2.5 v6. But still want a caterham, want an evo 6, want an evo 7, want a merc 500 sec, want a Subaru P1, want a supra with ridiculous body kit. The list of possible 2nd cars could go on and on.

2nd car is a Subaru P1 - both cars get similar mileages, both are similarly quick (A-B rather than acceleration)
I use P1 when I want to get somewhere fast & the TVR when I want to get nowhere fast

Either the Puma, Beetle, Landrover, or Saxo, depending on the weather or Job in hand... Cheers Matt.

Second car is Cosworth Scorpio Estate - 'L' reg but still excellent motorway car and dog carrier (need the space - 1 x Italian Spinone (42kg) & 1 x Bearded Collie (30kg)). 140k miles and still goes like s**t off a shovel. TVR is a 420SE (when it's running - currently @ Peninsula awaiting a brake servo). Tried the Spinone in it once but he just sat in the passenger footwell with his head on the seat and howled - only doing 40 mph so I gave up on that!
