Bikes arrgh
PC50
ZXR750
NC30 revved to 17,000 4 STROKE
XT600 Tenere bore and stroked to 720, used to anialate chains and sprockets with the torque, still have real chain wheel in the garage with alot of teeth ripped off !
VFR750 super smooth V4 last of the carb ones, still run it after 12 years of ownership, 80,000 and never changed the plugs, awesome reliable
WR450 used for 4 years of green laning, resting in the garage 18 months, did break a few of my bones with that
Bikes really are great

Blame the wine!!!! ZXR750, sorry.
I did wonder!Complete with vacuum cleaner pipes feeding out of the tank. I loved that feature when they were launched all those years ago. Such a mean looking bike with a lovely exhaust note, even at low revs. Rode one lots (mate had one), but never owned one. Always fancied a VFR750 too, but never quite got round to it!
So in summary... it seems like most TVR owners have bikes as well!
I'm no exception, been riding since i was 17. Had an SV650 for 4 yrs until I left uni, and then working for BMW opened up a world of choices! So far i've had
A 650 xMoto...
followed by..
F800S
G650GS Sertao
R1200R
R1200GS
S1000RR
HP2 Sport
Managed to do a Berkshire - Lands End - John O'Groats - Reading trip a couple of years back which was superb.
This year was by far the best bikey year for me
Topped off with a trip to France/Italy/Switzerland including lots of mountain passes (Furka Pass was awesome!)
Whilst running these all as company bikes has been an absolute dream, if I had the cash i'd buy my old HP2 back in a heartbeat. By far and away the best bike i've ever ridden!

Suzuki 200 like this but that was 30 years ago
Happy days
Even woke up in a ditch after a late night of partying but she still stated when I picked her up
Also managed to spin her head over tail in the ice/snow as it was the only way I had to get to work and she still started and rode her on to work where we took the rear swinging arm off popped it on the break press straightened it and back on and back home.
Then drove her from Cork to Belfast in the winter and back to visit a girlfriend and did the last 100 miles with no lights as they failed on the way home at 1am that was a journey.
Now you see why I really need 4 wheels

Always had Kawasaki's (barring an AP50 at 16)Started with a w.reg Z250, then a Z650,a few years passed after a bad accident. Ended ownership a few years ago with an early '84 GPZ900 had it for over 10yrs, mint for its age, loved it - a friend has it now. The ZX9 came and went during the mid 90's, too near to losing my licence on it. Still have a fancy for another but as for now the garage is full. Might be moving next year....bigger garage a priority
