One day I will do this kind of road trip.....needs some exquisite planning tho...Longers where are you??
This could be an awesome trip, and handy for Maffe as well But beer is VERY expensive.
I went on a fjord cruise in 2007, loved every moment, but the highlight was the "Norway in a nutshell" excursion, starting from Flam on the Flamsbana (wow!) to
Meerdahl, then train on the scenic route to Voss for a cold table banquet, followed by a coach tour up to the Hardanger Plateau (deep snow), waterfalls, dams, Stavkirkes, blossom orchards, strawberries, & beautiful Vik.
Fantastic!
On reflection, I think the cruise was the best way to do it, because each evening the ship became a reasonably-priced beer haven with no worries about drink-drive limits and also there was the never-ending supply of gourmet food.
But you do find that some bd shrinks all your clothes.

Looks like a very nice route. I'll be going to Norway in 2 weeks, sadly not in the TVR. But might be considering going one more time this year, never brought the TVR there before!
I -highy- recommend Lysebotn! It's a bit of a detour, but not too far from Stavanger. You -cannot- miss it. It must be one of the best roads out there. Just ask google for directions.
A picture says more then a thousand words;
//Hampus, Sweden.

Well we got back in one piece (sorry I didn't see your post Sonus). Was a fantastic trip all round. The highlights were Copenhagen and the drive to / stay in Flam. Beautiful countryside and I have picked out a few of our hundreds of photos to post up (whilst trying to keep it TVR related).
The car had a couple of minor hiccups, a loose HT lead in Oslo and the immobiliser lost sync with the fob in Flam, but thankfully both were quick fixes. Roof was off the whole time apart from 2 days and was very comfortable even with the aftermarket seats.
The car got between 24 and 27 mpg the whole way round, and we even managed to open it up on the autobahn; but at 120mph the bonnet, windscreen wipers and girlfriend started flapping
Now we have had a taste for that part of the world we will be planning many more trips up there as this really just served as a taster for each country
I even met another PHer in Denmark (Lotus Owner) so hopefully he will see this thread and post up.
