I was driving round the M25 yesterday not with earmuffs and suit on though, but with the roof down. The noise is sufficent not to be able to talk to your passenger which in my case was a great asset. I dont know about driving down to S. France I should think 8/10 hours at 80/90mph would be more than I could stand.

PLA - what engine size your Chimp? (Nice blue, BTW.)
Sorry to pull you up on this but I think en France, I'd find myself needing an oxygen mask because I'd be doing 90 as I flew off the ferry's landing plank! The autoroutes are a minimum 150 cruise and beyond for the committed. Toupees away!

So I pull out behind and wave, no reaction so I go past as they pull off and wave, still no reaction... If I didn't know better would have assumed it was a porker....

Why do all Porsche drivers get the same label I always wave at TVR's usually get a suprised wave back too.

cool glad to hear it! the friendlier the driver the more respect... I admit to liking some porkers but not the sound...

'surprise' - definition, as per any other driver seeing a BMW with a indicator on

Sorry but just driver down the M1 today - not so much a road more a muppet-way......

Even got a wave from an 'Arctic' yesterday on the way home from Rockingham, but it was the TVRCC's new wagon
