Well, I suppose all good things come to an end

I bought the Tuscan brand new back in 2005 and since then have had a massive grin on my chops. I love that car but unfortunately the Aston Martin itch is getting itchier and I need to scratch it. It looks like the Tuscan will be put up for sale very shortly to be replaced by a DB9.
I'll be keeping the RV8 Tuscan Challenge car 'cos thats the only thing that gives me a proper rush
I'll miss TUSS TWO

Dave, After having TVR's for such a long time I think you should take a long think about this. I bought a V8 Vantage 3 years ago, sold it 6 months later because the Aston itch wore of very quickly...! You'll miss the TVR there brutal compared to the Aston's.
You will miss this.
You'll get bored of this.
All the best

Who knows Brian, I don't know. I don't drive the Tuscan like it should be. Too many scammeras, coppers, and dheads on the roads these days. I always promised myself an Aston when I retired but a few peple I know have snuffed it days, weeks, and months into their retirement so I thought, "bks, get one now and enjoy it". I'm 12 years from retirement yet so why not. I can always sell it if I don't get on with it..... See you at Rockingham for the first round of DTEC?

I drove a DB9 on a track day a couple years ago.Un intertesting performance but that's why you have a challenge car. Get the Aston then get bored move on.
That's the point Perry. The way I drive the Tuscan these days, it has uninteresting performance. I can't remember last time I seen the baboons arse! I just don't push it anymore so I may as well get something a lot more refined while I can.Dave I was shocked by how much I like the DB9!
One of he easiest cars to drive at the limit. The handling is amazing. 55's round brands in factory spec!! Normal road tyres! Very impressive. It dosnt feel that quick but feels quick enough. One thing I would say though is that it isn't very comfortable on a long drive.

Called at Gorners were you bought the Tuscan after a test drive, and, so as not to be out done I bought a £20 shirt.
I still have the shirt too but its a bit tight now.
Scratch the itch mate!!!!!!!
Strange...if you had asked me in isolation which car looked better, the Tuscan or the Vantage, even being biased towards the TVR, I think I would have said the Vantage...but, seeing them together, your Tuscan looks bloody lovely and even shades the Aston?
...or is it my eyes late on a Friday afternoon and still a work...
I predict you will be back!
Good luck though, both great looking cars.
