Oooops, not a lot of meat left on them! A few more miles and they wouldn't touch the cam.

yikes
Fookin' 'ell, and some wonder why S6 gets bad press.
Besides the prospect of an imminent catastrophic failure, how much metal has been flying around the engine?

It's now in the safe hands of Jason at Str8six.
The car has only covered 22k and Jason is pretty sure it's already had a factory rebuild .....

I'm guessing an early, pre 2002, factory rebuild? Some engines took a few practice runs in the early days....

nono Not so I'm afraid, a guy I know had a 53 plate T350 which was on it's FOURTH rebuild at 15k miles, go figure. I actually get really annoyed at the factory that was and the attitude they had as when I was there, a couple of workers thought it was funny to see so many S6's awaiting rebuilds that were leaning against walls and laying on their side making jokes about it.

OP, job looks a good'n from a well respected name so shouldn't have any worries now thumbup
