p1 club

has anyone heard of damon hill,s p1 club or is anyone a member.
as i got an ivite to a do the other day and i wondered whats it like??

Bloody expensive is all I've heard. There was a comment or two posted on the porsche forum here. It would be far cheaper to hire a supercar now and then rather than this scheme. I seem to remember a 355 is around 750 a weekend elsewhere generally, but this scheme costs around 5k anually. I hope you get plenty of time at the wheel for that!

I went down and saw them about 8 months ago. They have various levels of entry but essentially you buy points and then depending on time of year, type of car, day/weekend etc the car you take uses a certain number of points. If you go for the 12K option it works out that you could have a Lambo for 5 weekends in the summer, so yes it is bl**dy expensive.
