Surrey Roof - Group Buy - 11th May deadline.

Afternoon to you all.
Right following on from this thread - http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a... - I have contacted Roger and he has offered a discount for a group buy.

They are available for the following cars;
S1, 2, 3, 4 and V8
Chimaera
Griffith
Tamora
The S-series roofs are £495. The others are all £485. This includes the Government's share for the privilege.
Roger has offered a 5% discount for a group buy. So this would make the prices £470.25 and £460.75 respectively.
I've order mine [two] already but if we can get another 8 [or more] then we can get a discount.
Please read this carefully before responding;
1. I have 'organised' this out of generosity and for no other gain save for some karma points.
2. We're all adults here and therefore responsible enough to not need mothering. If you say you want one then you will be responsible for making payment when it is due. Payment is due when the item is ready to be shipped. Payment can be made via BACS or cheque to Roger (details will be supplied to buyers).
3. These are effectively made to order. You'll need to know what colour you want the outer trim to be. If you want special colour / type I'm sure this is possible but you'll need to provide specific details. If you say you want one - you're getting one.
4. Re-read 2. and 3.
5. These are batch made in qunatities of 5. Therefore, they will be made in order of, er, ordering. That is first come first served. Please allow a month per batch. So if we order 15 then it could be 3-months before the last five get theirs. That said, he does have some stock so this is a worst case timescale. If you're happy to wait 3-months (mid-August) then let me know and I'll bump you down the list.
6. Don't use this thread to review, criticise or complain about any aspect of the product or the group buy. If you're not interested, for whatever reason, then please just move on. There are plenty of threads on the roof - one linked above - where opinions can be expressed and information sourced.
7. I'll reply to this thread starting a list. Please copy and paste the list in to a reply adding your details to the bottom of the list (user name, car, colour of hood). If you want more than one then add a line for each hood. Please re-read 3.
8. I'll close the list on Sunday the 11th of May. I'll PM those on the list asking for more details and forward the orders to Roger. I'll need these details by the 18th of May.

Roger did say that he had got a partial prototype for the Tuscan. However, due to the number of variations in that model, a roof isn't available. Feel free to contact him with details of your car if you're nterested and happy to be a product tester.

ETA: I've been informed by Roger that the price does not include delivery. It was my impression that it did. His delivery service is a signed for 24-hour service but charge is postcode dependant. As a budget allow £40 for this. If those signed up already wish to change their mind then this is fine. Alternatively, in you're in the area collection is an option.

I'm in, been talking to Roger about one of these for a while, so good timing. Only downside is I had hoped to have it for Le Mans, but doubt the timing will work out.
