What a great workout i got at the weekend!...
....i fancy myself as a bit of a marathon runner, having completed 8 (london&NewYork)...BUT i have never had a workout like the one Friday night!....
I parked my Griff500 outside Costas(i know..poncy coffee bar)...in Leicester....i duly sat in the window with a friend. Generally chatting as people passed by....
.......its a beautiful metallic red (flamigo..ithink) and people were stopping and touching and generally looking dodgy!....
.....The local Leicester "Scrotes" would approach it.. one hand in the pocket..as if to imply the were about to bring a nice bunch of keys out to give it go faster strips!...
.......this must be one the awful downsides to owning a very nickable, rapid and gorgeous sports car!
.....needless to say..the coffee tasted sh*t, i didnt listen to a word my friend was talking about and i left with a full on sweat!

....why do some people feel they have to damage Lovely cars!
....i did have two nice chaps..that stopped..took out their glasses and have a good inspection...which i think was nice...
....but as for fuc**ng up you vents...i bet your just glad you didnt catch them! :Shoot:

d1bble - I used to leave my silver Chimaera in and around the Leicester town centre on many an occasion and never encountered any problems - this used to be weekend daytimes and evenings. All I ever got were admiring glances and ladies wanting me to take them for a blast in it!
I guess you have only just got it, as I was like that for the first couple of months of ownership, and always checking up on it to make sure she was ok, thankfully though, never coming to any harm!

Nah - I had to sell it last year unfortunately.
However, I am still in the process of looking at TVR's again, so ownership might not be to far away!
Plus, I am not in Leicester at the moment (due to work commitments). Well, not back in Leicester until this weekend, anyway!
