Love this thread!

In my humble opinion isnt the fact TVR kept their own engine their USP as all others do sell out and outsource. I think thats the beauty of them personally and would love to see them not going LS... I mean with the work that Power and others have done to the S6 surely that would now be the way to go? 4/4.3/3.5 and even the option of the 5L for those wanting a V8 then that may be another conversation.

I mean that would provide a great drive and optional electronic aids could be added to assist further and kerb the rawness.

A TVR with an engine shared by others is great but soon enough car buying will be no more than choose an engine then chose the car shell to house it??

Yes TVR with a TVR engine it can't be anything less. That's what makes the marque stand out from the lotus and noble fraturnity, using a British engine smile. I know the story of how the RV8 was conceived and in my eyes its 100% pure british beefsmile
