As title.

I'm looking for the hard to find deeper rocker covers so I don't have to use a pair of spacer plates to cover my roller rockers.

Does anyone know of a pair lying around looking for a good home.

I'm not sure what model these come from?

Maybe someone can enlighten me?

Cheers guys.

Hi mate, my first Griff' had 'em ['94] They are like hens teeth to find. They sometimes come up for sale but expect to pay £200+ for a pair. I have steel spacers fitted without any issues, no leaks etc. Are you having same problems as Hoofa?

put 3 gaskets in with longer bolts.

How about looking to real steel. Maybe some aftermarket covers with adapter plates.

Speak later Perry.

I'm using steel spacers that have sealed well to the heads.

It seems that the leak is inbetween gasket and rocker box midway down the side adjacent to the dipstick.

I removed it ysterday, cleaned it up and added a little Hylomar in that section. I took it for about 15 miles and it isn't leaking but it wasn't leaking on the 180 miles to Joolz but peed out under flat out RR conditions!

Anyone got a piccie of the taller covers?

There's an Irish chap who advertises heavily on Ebay, casts up and machines some nice looking RV8 covers that are way taller than the ones we normally use and the TVR versions. They don't have the mono-pitch roof for one thing. I have previously confirmed with him that he could replicate the logo detail and finning off the Tuscan challenge type covers and, in fact, he already has done on some Essex V6 ones he lists. Nice guy so maybe worth a look.

If interested, will try and turn up some measurements as I'm sure I saved the details.
ETA - here's the V6 one:

Now you've got the most difficult bit, thinking about what you want embossed on the covers!
