Sell me the T350
Discussion
I see what your saying. Considering I've owned quite a few cars over the years I am surprised I've not really looked at TVR other than the 350.
It is a very pretty car to my eyes and of course fast. I think it was the attraction of being more 'grown up' for a better word than the more lairy earlier cars that rock my boat. Not dishing the earlier cars mind.

Tbh, I think with tvrs you either get it or don't. Usually just the look and noise of them is enough to convince most owners, if not then a quick drive soon convinces them. If you've drove a nice one but a little rattle has put you off I'm not 100% sure a hand built tvr is for you, especially if your coming from the Germany half.
I agree with this 100% and if you need someone else to try and convince you then its probably best staying away!SAGTAFF said:

One golden, never ignore, must do rule is to warm the engine properly before giving it the lead foot. The S6 engine can get lunched very quickly if not allowed to warm up properly.

Thanks guys its very much appreciated. I like the idea of having to warm through the engine before driving off , all part of the experience to me.
Don't do that if you get one mind. Get in it and drive off don't leave it idling.Wozy68 said:
I must admit that I was talking aircooled 911 like, which basically it seems is the same. Ie no more thN 3k revs until oil is up to temp which is usually around 6 miles until warm in summer
Slight variations in revs aside, it's that 'before driving off' phrase that alarmed people Gassing Station | General TVR Stuff & Gossip | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
