Hi Guys,

not actually TVR, I just thought this was cool when I saw it, and there is a TVR link! Nice to see the colour lives again on a bonkers British car.

I was just about to share this and found you beat me to it!

I've got it from a different angle though:

The only cars I've ever seen in this colour which actually look good (IMO of course) are TVRs, but I think it works pretty well on the P1.

Agreed - this kind of colour really needs to be broken up by vets and details, otherwise it just gets a bit too much. Stunning thing.

I think that cascade and reflex colurs have had their day and actually look a bit dated, and certainly dont look right on a modern supercar.

(Please don't kill me with fire. I have owned a Reflex Purple Tuscan and I loved the colour)

Don't disagree, but I think it depends on the look of the car as well. These are sort of expected on "silly" cars like Sags
and Tuscans biggrin

Each to their own but I am not a fan of these paint jobs on any car. I can forgive a teenager for tarting up a nova but any tvr or supercar doesnt need the addition of a loud paint job. There might have been about a day back in 2001 when it was ok but that time has passed. IMHO :-) Bejazzle.

Yes - I don't think the loud colours did TVR any favours. A lot of the Griffiths and Chimaeras I saw in London in the 90s were being driven by people who would not have bought a car in any reflex colour. Gave the brand a bit of a naff image IMO.

Found some flip paint owners - pic taken at Chatsworth I think.
