Any TVR's in Ireland

I used to live in Ireland and you're right, there's plenty of great roads to drive......certainly loved to take the Griff around the country. The Griff now lives in Amsterdam, so there's one less burble machine there. I did know of another Griff (red) and a Chim (red too), both in the general Dublin area. There should be quite a few in Northern Ireland though where Ireland's only TVR dealer was (now closed).

A few weeks ago I decided to never ever take a TVR there.
In my area the roads are so bad it makes really no fun with TVR suspension. Drivers are usually not very carefull so you get all the gravel you need for a nice chiped nose, now it is chipping time. Fast and careless oncoming lorries push you into the hedges covering usually stonewalls.
All the cattle and sheep dung lasts forever on the lower areas of the car.
Last year I was stopped by cattle on the road and one passing cow managed to sh@t through one open window into the car

I have heard a Tuscan Racer went to Ireland.
Mine was there a few years ago. It drew a lot of attention.
I was even chased by an ambulance for about 10 miles throught the twisties. He was doing a great job of keeping up. Eventually we came to the only set of traffic lights we'd seen all day, and he put on his blue lights. I pulled over to let him pass, but he stopped next to me, got out, and started to have a chat and ask questions. Quite amusing really.
Must go back soon, Had a great time.

I have a Tuscan in Dublin - on a UK reg though, there is at least another Tuscan in Dublin (irish reg) which I have seen around but never quiet bumped into, despite stupidely trying to wave him down once and feeling like a commplete prat when ignored. Ah well.
Some of the roads can be unpredictable shall we say, but once you avoid the main road speedtraps you are guaranteed fun. Beware of tractors!
Personally I reckon the Tuscans should stage a race at Mondello which is a great circuit, but thats just wishful thinking on my behalf.
In NI there is quite a little community growing there, last time I took the car to be serviced there were 8 TVR's waiting delivery/attention, the guys name is David Connolly (048 97528991), he used to set-up cars for Eddie Jordan in a different life, himself and Greg are 'top drawer'. They have regular trackdays at Kirkstown but I have never quite managed to hook up with one of these days.

There quite a few TVR's in the whole of Ireland about 30 in total, i've been told. In northern ireland there are usually about 6-10 cars at each meeting.
It is very rare that you will see a TVR on the roads in ireland,i maybe see 1 a month, excluding tvr meetings,
