Gonna get my chassis blasted and gonna cover with por15, but will it be okay to leave it bare while I weld it then paint?
Thanks Graeme

If you have blasted it then don't use "por". It stands for paint over rust. You will have no rust. Use decent epoxy mastic, or two pack paint as a top coat.

You can use POR on bare metal if you prep it with Metal Ready first

Of course, but if you've gone to the trouble of blasting the chassis there are better methods/options out there.

NO.
Immediately after blasting you should put at the very least a weldable primer coat on the chassis. Oxidation occurs on a freshly blasted surface within 20 mins of blasting when left in an open atmosphere.
