I wish to order a new set of spark plug adaptors, but I see there are two types,

Namely : 'Supressed' OR, 'Non supressed'.

Which is required for a 5 litre Griff, and, Whats the difference in them ( in what they do ).

Racing Green have both types listed on their website.

I never used the suppressed ones and didn't have any problems. I believe the suppressed ones are only used to prevent radio interference. I never turned on the radio biggrin

The original ones were resistive, they had become difficult to replace but maybe another source has been found. Some resistance in leads, shrouds, or plugs is needed for correct functioning of the ignition process and to damp RFI. Mine was especially good at knocking out Sky tv reception (apparently) until I went to resistive plugs (with non-resistive shrouds) - was tempted to just consider it a social benefit of TVR ownership smile
Seems some ECUs are prone to suffering resets with inadequate suppression.

....so a supressed one would be 'favourable' then ?

Depends what plugs and leads you are using. Assuming the recommended (non-resistive) B7ECS plugs, then I would go with resistive shrouds on the basis that it can't do any harm and might well do some good if your leads are marginal in EMI terms for some reason - be interested if the suppressed shrouds are German 'Beru' branded ones rather than some far-eastern patterns
