This has been covered in another thread, but since I'm on PH today I thought I'd blatantly advertise our next drinking session in a thread all of its own;

Venue; Dirty Dicks pub on Bishopsgate, just opposite Liverpool Street station
Time; Monday 5th August, any time after 18:30 ish

Parking is available on the side road next the pub if anyone wants to drive and all newbies are welcome. Even if you don't own a TVR you're welcome to come along - most of us don't nowadays anyway.

I might pop in and say hello too.

For those of you that aren't aware I work in the City during the daylight hours Monday to Friday and spend the rest of life working on the "behind the scenes" part of CDL Racing, the current Tuscan Challenge Champions.

Do you have a raffle or something similar, I might be able to bring along a team shirt or sort out a couple of VIP tickets to one of the remaining fixtures this year!

Format is normally just to turn up shortly after 6pm. Drink beer, talk bollox, drink beer, leave when the pub shuts about 10pm and stagger into the street trying to resist the temptation of a curry.

Resistance is futile Ted, everyone knows that!

As Ted has already suggested, the evenings are rather less organised than you might imagine. So definitely no raffle. Interesting that you are involved in the Tuscan challenge though. Come along and have a chat to Tintin Racing, Ultima Racing, Raven Motorsport, SPN Racing etc etc depending on who can be arsed to show up.

I used to work 25 yards away and didn't know it was held there. Now I've sold the TVR.

Stuart, as already said ignore them !!! medium T-Shirt or Team shirt would be good - have to say the CDL boys were very gr8 when i popped in to see them at one of the Tuscan races this season.

Worked 2 mins walk from DD's (same initals as me ) never made it now 15 mins walk and might make it - still not a Tiv owner though

Cheers
Darren

I'll be travelling back from SPA after cheering a TVR victory. Used to work at 135 Bishopsgate straight across the road from DDs. No longer work in London...for now....
