Speed Six Cluch
Discussion
FKERS!!!
I've got a Tuscan 2000. The cluch startted slipping the other day so popped it down to the dealer. When taken out one of the liners had come away hence it slipping. Now there was other wear on the cluch as but not to the point that one should come off. TVR told me to p155 off and WH got the golden words, "wear and tear". The car has only done 5k and I can't believe both can get away scott free. I don't want to shell out for a independent assesment my self cos WH will just get another one to confirm the orignal. Any one got any advise which doesen't involve bullets?

I had similar "its wear and tear" or "its not unusual" issues with my Cerbera when the front shocks went at 7.5K Miles, and also when my tappets needed adjusting just 6 months and 2.5K after previously being done ! Stand your ground is my advise and don't except everything you are told.
Not sure who you spoke to at the factory but I have found the service department to be the best initial contact and if they agree with you they will usually speak to customer service for you which then seems to have the desired effect.
