TVR rebirth

I have been thinking a little bit about what the new tvr might look like, I decided to do a quick concept sketch. Thought I'd share it on here.

If I were the guys in charge I'd look to rework the basic formula they left off with and restyle it, hence this sketch.

If I was being critical then I would like the front to be a little more TVR recognisable.

Unfortunately every car has to be gentle on pedestrians so they all pretty much look the same át the front.

That aside, if it's not a soft top then it must be a smoothed down Sag, (err, a T350 looky likey).

The thing is, tvr have changed a fair bit throughout. If you look at the early ones there are some similarities, and then they brought in the circular headlights and the rounded grille with the chim and cerb, then they kept it smooth and round with Tuscan, tamora and t350 but they've also had the wedges and the aggressive spoiler infested sag. There is no tvr grille, there are no tvr lights etc. So not sure what the tvr front would be, that's why I think it's interesting to speculate.

I quite agree, it's a tricky one.

Everyone recognises a sag but now unless it's a top market individual car, remove the badges and we ain't got a clue as to the manufacturer.

If I was designing a new tiv, (and I'm a builder) I would try and make the front a little more individual as that is the focal point that people see and remember.

The basic shape is what it must be but the front whispers Fiesta, ........sorry but most cars do.

Very brave of you. I have my own idea as to what I'd do if I were at the helm, but open forums can be a cruel place so well done for having the kahoonas for showing us all!
