Hello everyone.
A few years back I sold my 4.5 Chim with my private plate on to a chap who at the time seemed like a nice guy. I was under financial pressure back then to sell the car and did'nt have time to put the plate onto retention before the completion of the sale however I was promised by the purchaser that he would transfer the plate back to me. Two weeks later and no word I contacted the purchaser to find out what had happened and was very rudely told to p*ss off and that he had already written the car off so the plate had died with the chassis.
I believed this to be true until a friend spotted the plate on a wedge in hertfordshire this afternoon.
If anybody has any info on where I might be able to contact the owner of the Red Wedge that carries the plate please please get in touch as I would like to arrange to purchase the plate back.
Any help would be very greatly appreciated!

You're right its on a 4 litre red tvr, however to find the owner to ask for the plate its a bit harder to find out, best bet is posting on the wedge forum or regional forums to see if anyone knows the car, dvla? Ill not release owner's details without very good reason, this not being one of them as I know R1 gga is on a landcruiser but I can't find the owner to that either

tty response from the guy who you sold the car to, but after smashing it up he probably wasn't that interested in your request to be fair.
..edited to see the owners response above, at least Ph power worked in finding him although not the result you wanted.
