Leather Restoration
Discussion
Hi guys,
Big TVR fan based in Doncaster. I am a leather restoration expert and would like to restore someone's TVR leather if there is anyone near to me? The worse condition the better really!
The idea is to get before and after images for my new site.
Please send images of you have something for me.

The leather in mine is shocking. I have 4 patches on the drivers seat, 3 black and one white. The black ones look like oil and the white one looks like someone tried to clean it and removed the colour. It is/was red.
Only thing is I'm just outside of London, so about 3hrs away from you.

Hi there, yeah that's a bit far for me to go. If you can courier the seat to me I'll gladly restore it and package it for collection.
Would need some good pictures before and after though.
How about I send you some pics later tonight and you can let me know if it suits your requirements. If it does I would happily ship it up and have it collected from you.....Would need some good pictures before and after though.

David, my daughter threw her laptop into the back seat & there is a straight tear approx 3/4", if I super glued it would it stop the tear getting any longer until I can get it sorted ?
Hi there,If the tare is through the full crust of the leather then it shouldn't get any worse unless you really tried to rip it some more. Leather is very strong! The way to repair a full tare is to use specialist plasters behind the leather which bonds it in place, we then apply filler if there is any gap visible in print a leather grain, and then apply new leather pigment. The addition of superglue would simply make it harder to restore the leather properly in future.
It would only take a couple of hours to sort the repair. Happy to do it if you are nearby.
