Hi Oliver i saw your sag up for sale, she looks in great condition and i'm envious of how tidy your engine bay is!
Got to be one of the best ones on the market but then i might be a bit bias smile

Hopefully he'll stall long enough for me to save up and buy it as having seen it in the flesh it is stunning! Tony wouldn't offer me a straight swap for my T2S cry but i'm hopeful that it gets bought by someone with a real enthusiasm for the brand and not a random speculator who just buys it because of the low miles. It deserves to be used!

I had a good chat with Tony about it the other day but can't get to see it for a couple of weeks.

If anyone's got any information on it feel free to PM me.

BlackiePwul rates it as a good one, but not taken on such low mileage as mine won't be a garage queen !

Ok if you really want to know I have only been offerd £24000 for my Tuscan 2006 convert s, so I would have to
,pay £36000 to change , for that sort of money I could buy another griff and a Chim for my collection,
That saggy is the dogs nuts but £36000 difference, I don't think so.......
Hope that answers you question Hughesie, so get your cash out and grab a bargain .......All the best Gordon

That does seem low given where the Tusc II prices are heading, in fact all TVR prices seem to be holding steady and improving, have you thought about selling privately ?

I'm surprised this one hasn't sold, hence wondering about your hesitancy and if you knew anything about its provenance.

Hopefully off yo see the car in a couple of weeks time unless it gets sold in the meantime.

Thanks for your input.

All companies will offer you low money for your cars on trade-in. Such is life.

I hear - and this is only through the grapevine - that RG usually do the best deals,
but take that as just hearsay as I have no evidence to support or deny.

Low money is to be expected but a desire to make what would be in the region of 40 to 50% profit does seem to take the p*ss.

Agreed, but many places like to do that and will often do that. Such is life.

Of course, I don't know how much work Gordon's car needs. It might be the trade in price
reflects the spend the garage thinks will be needed to bring to car up to sale quality.

Only guessing, but factors like that are always part of the equation.

Hi Alex long time no see, if a garage has to spend more than £100 to get my car up to sale condition I would be surprised ,
I should have brought a Saggy when they were low thirties, never mind looks like I have missed the boat on this one,the one for sale at HHC does look good value compared to what other people want for there's at the moment in the adverts ,All the best, see you at a few meetings soon.....

That would make for a very sizeable profit for any business then, wish we could work on those sort of figures.

Keep your Convert S and enjoy it.
