Is there a list somewhere? Where are they now? Any for sale?

For starters:

420 SEAC - AC Roney (for sale)
Taimar Turbo - AC Roney (for sale)

Please add to this info. if you are able.

The White Elephant has to be on the list. Now Adrian has me intrigued, which is the 3rd M series turbo?

Pay attention at the back! intrigued eh, keep it to yourself though.
I seriously doubt that any cars after the 3 turbo's and then perhaps the last collection were ever registered in his name, (my thoughts are that the burgandy Taimar Turbo was in the petrochemical company name) OR am I just being a pain...I do know someone that might know the answer to my question though.

The burgandy Taimar WAS in Ireland, prior to it returning to AC Roney's..but that was a long time ago...

There's the T chassis, with a widened M style body, that he raced with Ben Samuelson. That's if it's a TVR, even though it wasn't built, or sold by TVR. Depends on what definition you want to apply.

My wife's cousin has one, might be 3000m (saw a photo of it a couple of years ago).

That's the 5000M referred to above. It's actually a modified Sagaris GT chassis so based on the T chassis but a bigger evolution. Built in Bristol avenue after TVR closed by Brian Hosfield and Jon Greenwood so as close to being a TVR as you'll get without being one. It does run a period black TVR badge as well smile

I believe this was PW's Cerbera. If I recall correctly its a 4.5 Red Rose. It was featured in Top Gear in a group test which I still have a copy of somewhere.

Paul, how does this work? are you happy accept hearsay as 'owned by Peter Wheeler', what sort of proof is needed?
I would want a copy of the registration with the details filled out as proof, you might have different ideas? IMHO, as with all these thing provenance is everything.

The Taimar Turbo at AC's as such sort of does not match that statement though ...as I said, I THINK it, was listed out as HIS company car, as when I rebuilt it for the then owner Brian, who said he had purchased from Peter (AND I tend to believe Brian,as he was a priest!).
I also understand the other Taimar Turbo was actually bought by Peter from a dealer, who might just add provenance to that car, the last Turbo an white M, (which appears to cross over with being built and the Robson book, which lists ALL the turbo's built, SO, as such is NOT on that list) is seen to be one that turbo owners accept is the 'real deal', (I have never know who ordered the car) BUT it has SO MUCH provenance of being Peter's and has been left to a relation on his death (as I understand it), AFTER these cars, and until he sells the factory, all the other cars are development cars that he had access to but not 'owns' (IMHO of course).

Peter also bought a Chimaera after the factory closed. Brian and Jonny looked after it for him. I'm not sure of the details though, or where it is now.

There is also his Tuscan Challenge car that has been converted for road use and remains with the family.

The last Turbo you mention Adrian will likely be the car my wife's cousin has, it was left to her husband in Peters will.

No he never owned one and the driving it home story is just another TVR 'Myth' I'm afraid. Apart from anything else the car could never have negotiated the tight, twisty and bumpy roads leading to his home.

As an example W112 was beached on a mini roundabout just outside Silverstone village when it was tested by EVO back in the day and they're 'normal' roads.
