I thought I would purchase a pioneer radio as the one in my car was a pioneer but the new one will not fit the socket !! Is their a conversion socket you can buy or do I have to rob the socket off the old radio and re-wire it all ?
Anyone ?

Do you mean your car doesn't have an ISO plug, or about 3" down the plug is the socket that plugs in to the radio?

Trying to get one of these new for my radio (the thieves who nicked my old one were kind enough to just unplug it rather than rip it out.....)

Anyone know exactly what it is? Been googling for an hour now and followed the links above - no joy.......

Thanks

That's the type - but it's 9-way. Only 8 used through. Speakers I think.....[url]
