Just working through the Wiki to find that there a few changes to be made. I'm after cover which includes track cover, anyone got such a policy recently?

JELF and Sky don't seem to do this any more.

All the motor insurance guys had left when I called. They said they will get back to me.

My ManningUK renewal was up 25% on last year. I phoned them to discuss, they were not interested in finding a way to lower the premium and were happy for me to insure elsewhere which I have done (Footman James gave me a good quote and they do trackday cover if you want it). I'm disappointed with ManningUK, I've been with them 8 years and never made a claim.

I moved from Mannings to Classic Line for exactly this reason. I can highly recommend Classic Line.

I too will be moving from Mannings this year. I've been insured with them since 2012 and year on year the increments have increased despite no claims. Last year I saw a whopping 29% increase and ended up paying £570 for the Tuscan on a 5000 limited mileage Business policy. I could understand it if there was something about my local area that meant that insurance risk had changed (I.e. increase in break ins/vandalism/whiplash claims for cash etc.) but I don't believe that this is the case, because all our normal car insurance policies for the daily drives have decreased year on year over the last 3 years. Unfortunately I wasn't organised enough to find alternative cover, but come renewal time, I will search for a more competitive policy. I believe Classic Line have been offering similar policies for 1/2 the price. I'll be checking them out in June.

Haven't read the print yet, but Flux have just come back with a 3 car policy including track cover on the Tam, for £200 less than the MSM policy without track cover.

Looks good but the search continues for a while.

Oooo - I didn't mention PH, so I may get another 15% off.

Try Henderson Taylor - 0161 437 7442. They offer free track day cover when you take out a policy.

You might want to read this before giving any money to Flux

Extremely miffed.

Classic Line all good, but very limited on the mileage.
HT will only cover the TVR
REIS do motorsport only
Mannings won't help.
Adrian Flux - all ready to go, then on confirming policy details I find that the requested track day cover is not included.

BH Friday tomorrow, on holiday for a week from Saturday, insurance cover for the three cars expires on Wednesday so I have to do something NOW!

No incentive to change to the Flux policy despite the £119 benefit over my existing renewal as I'm so annoyed that they got this wron, so looks like I'll be staying with MSM. Great guys - but no track cover.

The problem is that the MX5 I need covered on the group policy is modified, so only specialists are interested.

Oh well; cheque to MSM then see if I can maybe remove the TVR when I come back, and do something separately that includes track day cover.

Try Competition Car Insurance. They cover my Ginetta G40R with 5 trackdays included and more at extra cost.

Just about to do the same. Mannings kept putting up the premium and this year they want to start charging £250 a day for Euro track cover. Previously zero. Classic line is still £200 a day euro cover but worked out almost 20% cheaper on the premium overall.

Mannings said to me they were not interested in trying to match the quote so I am going elsewhere.

My Classic Line policy includes track days and unlimited mileage. Negotiate a bit harder, forget you are British.
