Initially it will help prices of the older cars I think. People will look at the price of a new one (guess £70k+) which after 4 years might be worth 40k, and then they'll look at an older car for 25k that is still appreciating. They could have money left over to do up the older one and still be better off, maybe even make money. However, after 4 or 5 years they will have the choice of a 2nd hand reborn model or an older model, which makes the older ones harder to justify. It's not as simple as that of course and everyone's different, some will always appreciate the classic ones smile

Reviews & 5 Stars ? - No details of said review or opportunity to leave your own review - it's hardly transparent feedback!

I'm sure some of the "names" on this list have an army of happy customers who could of provided genuine feedback, as well as those with a few horror stories of shoddy work/customer service & warranty issues - where is the balance?
Just click on the company name then click 'Leave your own review'

Not sure I'm a big fan of TVR genuine parts. Most of the parts of these cars are bog standard car parts of their era, with a two fold markup and the word TVR printed on a sticky label on the bag.

In fact most of the parts that really were made by TVR, thy've run out of a long time ago.

Good news on a network, although there are some very talented people not on the list.

As far as values go I reckon the Cobra example is a good one.
When they introduce a new TVR, the media will compare old vs new, I can see the group tests now, and I bet evo etc will look on the old stuff very favourably. Analogue, electronics-free character. Difficult to copy today. TVR have their work cut out but I really do hope they succeed.

hehe very true. They just need to make sure there's room for a TVR Network logo on the sticky label, and add a bit more markup.

Yep am looking at replacing all four CV joints at the back of the Cerbera. TVR £168 each. Local ford to get the granada original £54 each.

Given that X-Works isn't on the list, I would be interested in knowing what is needed to get on the list. There are things such as good hotel guides that you can get into if you pay the relevant organisation, not because you have been visited by impartial inspectors and meet a minimum standard. The latter is what should be happening.

So what are the criteria for making this list?

Paying a fee and maintaining a pricing structure I expect.

Neil Garner has two 5 star reviews. But he's only 4.9 overall.

And Torqueflyte have three 5 star reviews and they are 4.9 overall too. confused
