Genuine question, as it is my chosen subject, but I'm interested to know why internet orders aren't working for Powers? Does the cost/time spent on keeping the website up-to-date plus the operational costs (Paypal/CC fees, etc) outweigh the extra revenue it brings?

It's a shame as it seems to me that Powers are really the only company that could hope to compete with RG/TVR Parts and now we're just left with TVR Parts, which is bad for consumers!

Hey if your a supporter of Chinese parts sold under Tvr Heritage then more fool you... As for internet sales it doesn't work for my company as previously stated ! I await more abuse bring it on

Dom
Are these the Chinese parts that were all held by multipart on behalf of TVR, that all TVR parts distributors would use.. But have now been delivered and are safely tucked away in Racing Green towers, whoops I mean TVR parts. Just so everyone's clear whistle

Dom
Still up to your old tricks of dissing anyone who doesn't agree with you and rubbishing your competition by insinuation, Dom?

Your missing the point this is about Heritage TVR Parts being sold at premium prices , turbos are supplied by Nck via the states and modified to suit

RaceTech and Powers Performance. I keep saying if you only have one supplier that monopoly can charge whatever they like. Support diversity and competition, that's the only way us consumers will get a good deal.

Having tried most parts suppliers I personally find Racetech very good, Keith is a really nice guy and it is a shame that Clevor Trevor was munched up by Racing Green.

Powers are great for the bits that Racetech don't do and give competition where they sell the same items.

I like phones, I like collecting, I like post.

I hate computers as they have a habit of not telling you what you need to know when you hesitate whilst tapping keys as you puzzle an image or description written by someone who no longer works there. I like someone on the other end of the phone who, if they have technical knowledge like the people at Powers or Racetech, can explain, describe or ping another picture by text or view a picture you send over to establish what is required.

It is called service and I like it.

I have a BMW with computers in it and I hate it.

Personally for my Wedge the two independents I've used of late which I highly rate are Neil at ML Performance and Richard Thorpe at RT racing. Both are excellent.

I would also check the exhaust mounts they sell. Just had mine changed, and one of the two I bought was terrible - holes didn't line up and the casing was bent/distorted. Only the rubber could be used.

You get what you pay for, I guess.

This may sound off topic but I'm interested to know why the letters 'TP' would be stamped on an S6 engine block as per my picture? I guess they don't come from the factory like that?
