Just had my Tuscan re-sprayed locally to me. Chipstead, Lower Kingswood area.

I must say Gary from Chipstead Coachworks is amazing. 2-4 days turnaround and the end product is sublime.

For any other information contact him on 07739 052551 and say Dani Vega recommended you.

He will look after you.

Sorry to sound negative but 2 to 4 days sounds like a blow over a full respray done well and prepared well is a far longer process i would be interested to see the results in 18 months time especially on a Fiberglass car

Very odd forum, it's saying I've posted successfully but I can't see them. Do they need approving? The pics show the major scuffs and the spray job is amazing. I value my car and wouldn't let any muppet. He's amazing and does many high performance cars such as Lambos here locally.

You have to use a photograph server like photo bucket, save you pics on there and copy and paste the IMG code from the picture into your pistonheads post comment window.

Looking forward to seeing it however pictures dont really show the difference between a Quality re spray and an average one hence why we should always view a car and a freshly painted car i would avoid buying it takes up to 18 months for a paint job to really show its quality.
If its a case of staying with the same colour and repairing some flaws yes that time scale is possible but a crash repair in Fiberglass takes far longer than a steel or alloy car.
I have seen crash repairs that have been turned around in a few weeks that look great and months later the repair starts to show as the materials shrink.
Still love to see the results sometime in the flesh

I should have said from the start, it wasn't a complete re spray it was Scruggs and chip marks so not an entire re spray. But an wxcewnt job and you have to see his quality of work. I would gladly recommend him to my fellow Tvr family.

I would be interested in seeing how yours settles and I'm only a few miles from Kingswood.

I need to replace my pepperpot and address wing & bonnet sctratches but like the colour and the rest of the car is fine so was considering a front-end respray. The car did have one a few years ago, would I likely have problems repeating it ?

... well I'm in Reigate so local too, & would love to see the respray job as well.

I'm planning to go to the Brooklands Classic Breakfast on Sunday 17th, & then pick up with the Tuscan Surrey Hills run (if they let a Chimaera join!) Could meet there?? Heres' the thread...http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&f=5&t=1503415&nmt=

Love Reigate. I frequent there quite a bit with my dorris for a nice touch of Italian and cavorting in the bars. If you see my car come and say hi.

Have you got the Tuscan bonnet hinge set up? I am wanting it done so badly but they are all rather far.
