Final check - I may have promised to bring my spare set of track tyres to Bedford, but cannot see any reference to it.
Is anyone expecting me to bring them? Speak soon, or I will leave them at home.

I will be bringing spare silencers and spare helmets (2).

Brett - what's the problem? Car or work? If it's car, do you want to pop over anyway and come out on track as a passenger?

All set for Monday - new AD08R tyres, geo sorted and replacement bolt sourced for track day silencers.

I may take you up on that kind offer of a spare helmet if you have one going Anthony. I have ordered one but it has not turned up yet.

Helmet no problem Matt. That rear camber will only help keep you on track.

Seven now Brett has had to drop out.

On the positive side, I am collecting Alun from Rugby for a day of fun and abuse, and a guy called Colin is coming to see what a track day is about, so we will be offering passenger rides. Paul (yellow Tuscan, current tunnel run Organiser) is also coming for passenger rides and abuse. There are probably more, but my memory ain't what it used to be.

The pits are a fair way from the briefing, and last time we were there the first to arrive at the pits after the briefing got to park in or in front of the garages.
So stand at the back for the briefing. wink
Forecast is good, so it should just be a case of somewhere to put our stuff out of the boot.

Hi All
Just want to say a big thank you to all the guys for your help, advise and making me feel welcome especially Anthony for picking me up,answering all my questions and taking me for an awesome passenger ride..
Was my first track day and realy enjoyed it! next step is to take my Fiesta ST for a track day and work my way up to my Tuscan.
Only downside was i forgot to cream my head up, suffering now. redface if only being bald wasn't so fashionable!!

Thanks again

As always when with our TVR buddies, a fantastic day.

Weather was brilliant, not a drop of the wet stuff all day.

I hope everyone enjoyed themselves, I certainly did, chatting and driving, driving and chatting, beats shopping or working any day smile

All the hard work seems to have paid off as the car performed beautifully.

The only downside noted is that the steering is a bit light at speed, (140 plus at the end of the straight as discussed with expert Alun).

All in all, fantastic apart from the bit where I got a bit exuberant overtaking four cars at once and Colin, ( good reactions) had to take a bit of evasive action to avoid me! I was lightly reprimanded...............

I have a couple of vids to put up but will have to wait for No2 son for that.
