To be fair I do have a seriously quick car which is for sale should you fancy a crack at it. I will be lowering that time in August when I am next there, weather permitting. I have done a lot of laps round Combe so that helps. I'm really glad to read that you guys have a really good bunch of guys regularly doing track days and having a great time. Phazed and I started doing track days together to many years ago now to remember, but he is a very talented peddler and so willing to give sound advice. I look forward to been able to join you chaps when time allows in the mean time have all the fun.

I have enough trouble getting my standard Griff 500 round the circuit, no chance of me being able to handle an LS3 Tuscan Challenge car!

Yeah it is really good fun and we have a great group of guys who all have a laugh, it is what TVR ownership is all about. I agree Peter is very talented behind the wheel, not that he ever admits as he is too modest. You should definitely join us this year at some point if you can I would love to have a proper chat about the racing series (out of interest not because I want to have a go).

Oh I dunno Matt, if your going to do that to fix your throttle to get out on track you might have the right stuff, you seemed to be going well last week.

Haha, couldn't resist it.

LOL I had forgotten about that. Glad you got your phone back OK Alun, I was secretly hoping it had been lost forever, along with that photo ;-)

Yep that is be ruining my Tuscan seat attempting a succeeding at fixing the throttle cable. I thought my car was getting slower as the day went on, it turned out the screw on the end of the throttle cable was working its way loose.

Sorry Matt, thing is you Griff boys do have lovely bodywork biggrin

That's a classic Tvr pose, be proud mate.

As Anthony says it's a right good day out when there's loads of other Tvr boys with you, you can share driving memories and we all understand, glad you got on with the new tyres.

Soooooooooooo, any interest in Castlecombe?

It's a great track, dare I say, "better than Bedford", more challenging and not too hard to get to.

Anyone interested?

I will start another thread.
