That's one good looking chassis mate.
I would advise getting the fuel pump on next before too much gets in the way.
Rebuilding the rolling chassis was my favourite part of the build - apart from turning the key to start it for the first time post build.
Must go, got to take the Chimaera out for a hoon!

It's just dawned on me I had to cut the fuel pump bracket off as it was badly corroded, so I will either have to make one or try and buy one. Enjoy the sunshine while you can.I would advise getting the fuel pump on next before too much gets in the way.

Hi GED, do you know what size and spec the following items are, rear arb bracket to chassis bolts, steering rack to chassis bolts, engine mounts to engine block nuts, cheers in anticipation Jim.barnsweeper said:

Rear ARB are M8 (13mm socket/spanner) as for the others I believe they are all imperial sizes - the person who will know for sure is Richard Thorpe at RT Racing on 0114 281 7507.Sorry I can't be of more help.

How's the rebuild going mate?
Hi Ged, its going okay I am limited to what I can add to the chassis as it has to be carried from round the back of the house,it only requires the discs and calipers and its a rolling chassis, I've left it for now and started cleaning the engine bay and wheel arches ready for painting, then its putting the engine back together ready to refit into chassis, then it will be body on, I reckon it will be about 5 weeks before body on, my problem is I am partially disabled and suffering at the moment, I've just made new heatshields ready to fit, its a learning curve at the minute but I'm really enjoying it, I will update the photos in the morning, thanks for taking an interest regards Jim.barnsweeper said:
