TVRs don't like being left in the garage.
That's not been my experience.Correctly maintained TVRs are quite happy being left for two, three or six months at a time - same as most other cars. Just do what is needed before you leave them, and do what is needed before you use them.
Same as any other car that you care about.
TVRs don't like being left in the garage is a phrase often used during the sales negotiation of what maybe considered to be a high mileage TVR when seller is trying to command a price that would be considered reasonable for a low mileage TVR
AIUI, a cam change involves some back-breaking bending deep down into the bowels of the engine bay, and I suppose some DIYers might choose to do the extra work of removing the engine if they've got a hoist and stand. But it's not necessary and I wouldn't expect a garage to do all that extra work at my expense. It's what Ralgex is for!

Thanks for the replies. Finding it difficult to find anything available to try near me (Bournemouth)
Zimmer specials are hot there I hear ;-)Filled with nubile 20-somethings now, sunning themselves on the beach - I think all the retirees must have moved to your village
