The bds! They've cribbed our letter and my invented word depositeer! ! We sent this out to depositeers only last week!

Dear Magic Bean Depositeer

Exciting times are here and you're part of them. (Please note change of corporate name).

By way of a quick update, we wanted to again thank all of you who have sent us your five thousand pound deposits, they are being put to good use!

In the meantime however, there have been a number of questions raised since we started to take deposits and we thought we'd take this opportunity to address the most relevant.

Firstly, there has been a monster response to the opening of the order book and this blew up the computer, literally. What a mess. We processed a large number of deposits using Unrep's old Amstrad as a result and that slowed things down. People placing their orders by phone may experience a delay in getting through to our call centre as Sylvia has to answer calls on Richard Desmond's chatline as well so we have to take our turn. But don't worry, persevere and you will get through and it's only 2.50 a minute while you're on hold. Assuming your payment has been received, this delay will not affect your position on the list in any way whatsoever. As long as we have your cash you're going to get your beans when everyone else does.

However, if you have placed an order and requested to pay by bank transfer or cheque, your order cannot be processed until your funds are cleared. Like really cleared, turned into cash and off shored - you get my drift. Therefore, if you are in this category we strongly urge you to ensure payment has been processed correctly. Failure to submit cleared funds within 5 working days of your order will result in us having to pay you a visit and we don't want that, do we? We have to be strict on this as there are others wanting to get these beans and we intend to close the list in the near future.

Secondly, if you have placed an order under the special VIP bean club enhanced deposit scheme, please note that it takes a little time to verify that you qualify for this (sufficient cleared funds immediately available). We do not send out deposit receipts (for obvious reasons) so if you don't hear from us for a while don't be worried, we will offer you the option to top-up your deposit amount at a later date to super enhance your position in the bean scheme (super extra VIP extra enhanced membership).

Finally, There have been a number of queries regarding the point at which the deposit becomes non-refundable. That passed 10 minutes after you placed your initial order and we trousered your cash (see clause 459, sub para 83 of our terms of business) so we don't want to hear any more about it.

We hope the above sheds more light than darkness and look forward to passing further information to you soon. Unrep is currently unavailable on a fact finding trip on your behalf to Cap Ferrat but he's left us in charge and everything is cushty. Call Sylvia with any queries and remember Beans Means Biz.

Yours in sport

Bernie and Tim

I'm sure Sniff Petrol are drafting up an offer letter for you as I type.

In the meantime though, whatever your agenda is, it's time to give it a rest as you're just coming across as a troll.

Very good point. rofl

It shows how closed a community we tend to be. For any of us we know it's because of those stupid jump lead plugs that mean it becomes a bugger should you only have access to normal leads. And that the trickle charger is because these are usually second cars. But to anyone else it just announces that the car is a bag of bks.

I very much like the look of that car, but it's a tad more than I'm prepared to drop on a Cerb.

Worse case it could be all three; buy TVR against Mrs wishes, get divorced, sell TVR and house to foot the divorce bills..............

Not specifically but I'd guess late 2016 is when we'll actually start seeing cars.
