TVR Weekend Hire
Discussion
Good Evening all,
I am an ex (sadly) Chim owner and I am looking to hire a TVR, either a Griff, Chim or Tamora, for a weekend to celebrate an anniversary with my girlfriend - can’t have anniversaries etc always being about the girls! Has anyone had any experience of hiring a TVR or are able to recommend a good company to hire from - so far the most obvious company to hire from is Bespokes however they have recently sold their Griff so would be looking at a Tamora from them. A few hire companies in the South West have the TVRs I am after but as I live in East Anglia they are a bit far away.
Second question to any Tamora owners - is the boot/any storage behind the seats accommodating enough to go away for a weekend (soft bags, towels, footwear etc)
Any help would be much appreciated, particularly from those who have used the services of such firms. Likewise any alternative options that I haven’t considered above would be most welcome.
Thanks
Alex

Loads of room, enough for a week or two. You can stick a big suitcase (best not the hard case type) and a couple of small bags in it. To ride with the roof down you need small soft bags to fit around it as the roof goes into the boot vertically right through the middle of it.Alex

Surely some of the hire firms will deliver the car to your door, worth checking
Could do, but time, fuel and return in the train would be pretty expensive. I usually recommend people just come down to me and make a weekend of it, as it’s a nice area!Jurgen Schmidt said:

I have found a number will do, but the only one with TVRs seems to be Bespokes, who whilst the nearest to me are also the most expensive and want a further £240 for delivery and collection for a 80 mile round trip. (Nature of the surprise is that getting dropped off in London or Watford to pick will spoil it unfortunately)phazed said:
