Not the best weather today, but I had been looking forward to it all week that I went anyway

Admittedly had the roof on the Tuscan all the way there, but off most of the way back biggrin

Got some friends coming down next weekend and wanted to do a 100 mile round trip to Burford to buy some cheeses from the Cotswold Cheese Co. If you haven't tried St Eadburgha, I highly recommend it!!!

Of course, you can place the order on the website and have it delivered, but that's not as much fun is it?

Had a great drive and quenched my TVR thirst for a few days

I'm guessing that this is not going to win any awards for ‘unnecessary journeys’, but wondered if any of you chaps have made an excuse of some sort to go for a drive.....?

I did a 4hr round trip last night up to Skegness because I was bored.

Roof down all the way there, but it was getting cooler so I pressed the button on the dash and closed the roof - of the Merc getmecoat

I picked my Chim up from Bespoke after an MOT and service on Monday .I needed fuel, but as I was short on time that evening plus it was pi@@ing down, so I locked it in the garage . Ive been gagging to get out in it all week ,so today for no real reason other than to put some fuel in ,I went out ,30 quid of Vpower and an afternoon of just blasting around on some great Essex roads , roof defo off ,and so back in the garage ................................................................. needing fuel biggrin

Got home tonight, house full of family visitors so told them TVR was short on fuel so needed to drive all the way to local town to fill up. 10 miles round trip of noise, fun and feeling silly. Money and therapy cant buy the same experience!

I always assumed a 100 mile trip to get some milk was quite normal in a tiv? wink

I brimmed the Tamora's boot with waste electrical gear (all the wires/chargers/laptops/etc crap one accumulates over time) and took it to the recycling centre.

Despite the fact I can phone someone to pick it up for free smile

I take it you are keeping the decat then? I'm pretty much doing everything you do, after you do it and report back... smile
ermmm to keep on topic... does it enhance every unnecessary journey? biggrin

In over 5 years ownership I don't think I've made a single practical journey in the car. smile

But practical journeys are so impractical that you are being more practical by using the tvr for its intended purpose :P
