Should be List Price including VAT, but no options or delivery charge. Or the first year road tax (which will be £2450?).

Cheapest way to legally get a new TVR on your drive.

B. August

I can't wait to see more details. We should see some engine pictures soon. The suspense is killing me.

Interesting do you know something about an imminent engine reveal then. Look forward to that as its the heart of any TVR.

Be interesting to see what they pick as a benchmark for performance per pound.

That new 911 looks a very potent force and isn't far off the prices being mentioned here.

Ford Mustang GT V8 £34k At £34k, you'd just buy it for the hoot!!
Currently have one as a hire car, list price is $43k for the convertible 435bhp, 400ft/lbs torque, well spec'd, comfy, quite large. Boot isn't large, no where near the capacity of a Cerbera but larger than previous models. It does make a great sound and one may or may not have been out on the stip on Vegas in sport mode in the evening, crusing, just for the noise.
Makes sense over here, big lazy engine has returned just over 25mpg (us gallons) on gentle cruising over 1500 miles (doing mush worse since we hit vegas biggrin ), but quite a big car for uk parking spaces.

That'll be the day. David does like to hint he knows a lot more being in the sacred inner circle, but never reveals. Whether he does or not know anything or is just speculating remains to be answered.

I'd rather have a wedge, it's better looking.

For a road trip on the west coast yes that or a corvette but in the UK you will just look like a tosser driving one of those.

This thread is all about how to make the impossible. Its almost an unwinnable game for TVR full of compromise.

I think they should go back to their kit car roots.

You order a Guffalo from TVR it costs £40K. Two days later a man delivers a giant crate to your door. Inside the crate is a rolling chassis and all the parts packaged up and fitted into the crate like a chinese puzzle. Everything you need to build the car is in the crate.

You spend the next six months chatting on PH about the build. Once completed you take the car back to TVR for a shake down check and paperwork.

Only if you care what others think of you. I'd feel secure enough not to have to impress stranger's. Bottom line is that you have the last laugh, as most normal people wouldn't realise just how much performance you have, for such little money. A bit like if TVR's made car's of that size, probably wouldn't be far off looking like a Mustang.

Launch Edition: £79.950 September 2017

List price of the coupé starts at £69.950 but you'll have to wait for it until the tail end of 2018.

oop north we av a saying, you dont get owt for nowt, This is a business he is starting I suppose the intention is to make lots of money but the very least break even, Lots of politics on the go, I am and probably never will be able to buy a new TVR. At the moment the thing that pees me off is the "heritage spares" screw down the owners, suppliers and repairers who have battled to keep and improve these cars, Clocks cannot be turned back so move on and it wont be easy for the Lad. When you drive a TVR its the thrill the sense of power, presence, being on the limit, etc etc etc, or as one of my passengers said "just let me out" cos his repmobile will not spill his drink and he can listen to to radio, so when he makes his cheap giant slayer it will be a compromise as before and its up to jo public if he like it,I love em but as a car mmmm, Just one more point, I watched "the making of one million pound car" a great program and fantastic from Jaguar but Lord March did bring things down with a bump No Invite for them and I think that sums TVR up in a nutshell

Reigniting a thread that hasn't been discussed in 11 months.

I'm considering placing a deposit. Has there been any more info about potential costs or delivery dates?
Have we seen any of the pictures that were suggested earlier in the thread?
