I've been watching the recent eBay auction for a union flag bonnet badge. Now I was under the impression they were originally circa £30 when new. This one sold for £77. Is this the going rate nowadays or has the seller got very lucky?

Yeah that's the ones I was talking about. The one for sale was an adhesive one.

Shame the supply has dried up, I'd really like to get them going again as there seems to be a fair few people looking for them.

Watching that one with interest, I've got a couple brand new ones tucked away in my garage smile

Yes Paul the missis missed her old table cloth that much I decided to paint the chimp in the same colour scheme, I am sure Andrea would also approve of a similar colour scheme of a favourite table on one of your TVR's smile

Have you searched 'sold' items to see what they go for? I doubt they are as much in demand as the bonnet badges (especially with lugs).

Should I up the insurance on my Griff? I have union badges front, back and small ones on the sides!!! Wish I had got a second set as an investment!!!! Better do the same on the M as the last 'M' badge on ebay went for that price too.

I bought about four bonnet badges last time as I couldn't make my mind up on black or silver.
Must remember to put them in the Safe with the gold bars. smile
