Best RV8 oil filter?

I use Guttmann filters in my Smart, they are well made cartridge filters that used to cost just £2.39 from ECP, and they are always in good condition when removed.

I use Mahle filters in my Porsche (which I import from the US due to price), they are also premium filters with a good reputation for quality and reliability.

However I would much rather use more effective, more robust, less restrictive and longer lasting synthetic filters as available for the RV8 and AJP8, but they aren't available so I can't. And I don't have the foresight or resources to get a batch specially made to order as David Brown has, I am very grateful for his commitment.

K&N do a filter I think they are about £8, they make good air filters so would expect there oil filters to be slightly better then the cheap stuff about.
