We used to get our cerbs weighed for sprinting and they all were between 1225kg and 1240 kg with 10 litres of fuel so if it's a standard engine at circa 360BHP you are at around 325BHP per tonne before you fill up the tank and add a driver.

My griff, which to be fair has been lightened a lot should be down to 980kg by next week and with what I hope will be a genuine 320BHP when it's tested on a RR next month should also put me in cerb territory at 325BHP per tonne <-:

I don't know why they're so much difference between the cerbs.
Mine was weighed last year and came in at 1200kg with a full tank of gas.
And that was before i shed 12kg on wheels

They have more fibre glass than the other Tivs and the factory just slapped their fibreglass up without really caring whether it was an inch think or a foot. wink

I think if you tried to get an average thickness of TVR fibreglass there'd be quite a wide range of data and probably also on the same body.

360 HP/1200 kg would be exactly 300 bhp/ton, no?

That's not a new TVR. It's a drawing by a bloke at Autocar imagining what a new TVR might look like.
