Being a bit of a mustang nerd now, if you want an opinion, fire away. Just to say, looking to update my rather old 16 plate 20,000 miler !! Exactly the same spec . See my profile pic.
Sorry tvr people if we are infiltrating , but we have been faithful.

Next summer will mark my quarter-century of continuous ownership - and all with the same vehicle. After all that time, it still makes me think "what a great-looking car" each time I see it :

" Is it a 1989 car? " Yes! And perhaps more impressive than the 24 years of ownership is the fact that it has been my ONLY car during all that time.

Originally G680MEO, one of the press cars that year, featured in "Fast Lane" magazine in October '89. Written off in 1991 (not by me!) and re-built, hence the different 4-headlamp bonnet.

The car mag photo brought back memories.
I had an Evante & took an S1 & cash to get rid of it. Long story involving factory cock ups & a court case & compensation.
On the way down to London to do the part exchange the exhaust broke in half & the roof blew off.
Good job i was getting the first hard top fitted.
The car went down to the south coast.
I wont mention when it was delivered one side had the window frame mat black & the other gloss.
The list went on & on.
So a TVR was a breath of fresh air & all problems became minor niggles.

I've had several 5 litres, all had Imolas rather than Estorils. It was a factory option.
