Can it be another two years have passed? Happy to report love story still going strong!

So, just in case you were wondering about the scaffold boards....

....the drive was the wrong gradient to allow free passage into the garage. So, 32 tonnes of concrete removal later the TVR will fit in the garage with about 1cm to spare. Still, enough is enough!

How much more love can you show for your car? cloud9

Well.....this is a post I never thought I'd be making!

Almost exactly 25 years later I'm now bereft of a TVR. I've fantastic memories of wonderful times but the time was right to mover her on.

There's so many things I'll never forget that will make me smile. Changing down two gears to make the most noise through the tunnel at Monaco and then having a Ferrari driver pull along side with a massive grin & a thumbs up is one that springs to mind. Being terrorised by traffic in Rome, offloading the ferry in Mallorca & of course holding my breath through Alpine passes.

...or just bimbling along in country lanes. (Or even just opening the garage door to take a sneaky peek hehe)

An excuse for a couple of gratuitous pictures?

Next summer will mark my quarter-century of continuous ownership - and all with the same vehicle. After all that time, it still makes me think "what a great-looking car" each time I see it :

Hi, why hasn’t it got the 5 litre wheels on it
I've had several 5 litres, all had Imolas rather than Estorils. It was a factory option.

Fantastic!

Glad the wheels have been returned to a proper colour. (Although I had Imolas on it).

I loved that car, if it wasn't for my bad back I'd still have it! Thanks for getting in touch.
