If my wife knew that Aston built a car which had two genuine rear seats then I would be being forced to bring my plans for old age forward a few years. biggrin

I keep looking at Rapides and thinking it's the only 2+2 that I'd migrate to.
So, let me get this straight DA, you've not told the wife about the back seats in a Rapide, because if she knows she'll want you to buy one? Don't s'pose she's got a younger sister? wink

It's just that women who encourage chaps to buy nice/fast cars are a pretty rare commodity these days... Or they might not be.. I don't get out much these days scratchchin

Just stick a 1:1 scale photo of some backseats into any current 2 seater. Those virtual seats would still be more comfortable and roomier than the back seats in the Rapide.......... ;-)

It wouldn't be me sitting in them though. wink. The upside of the Rapide is that by the time I get myself comfortable another human can sit behind. The Continental and the GrandTourismo were other candidates but really aren't my sort of thing. But the real truth is that there just aren't any viable 2+2 cars being built today that I find all that interesting.

Why on earth do you need a +2 DA?

Shirly your Evoque fills the +2 roll... smile And, bonus, it's a pretty good looking little off roader biggrin

Two young children, a wife who doesn't drive and a family commute out of London each Friday. Combine that with FedEx refusing to courier children and it meant a 2+2 was the only solution.

My Evoque???!!!! I might live in the 'disco' part of Town but I can assure you that I don't dance. biggrin

Anyone know where I can get a 'my other car is a TVR' sticker to put in the back of my Aston? (which I pick up this week biggrin )

Oh, hang on, sorry guys, I'm on the wrong thread whistle
Hi Chilli,
It's possible that Andy Hutcheson ( Mr Tank on here ) may have one or two of those stickers left. Ask on the Wedge forum.

No idea where you can buy Aston Martin slippers and cardigans though.
Haemorrhoid cream is available from most good chemists.

HTH wink

I took me two previous wives to find one that is into cars at all. Now we have a Camaro SS and she has also started to learn to fly, intent on getting her PPL before next Easter. I have already told her the Camaro stays and will not be swapped for a plane!

All well and good but it's totally derivative. Face from a Speed 12, bonnet off a Griffith, back end from a T350, shaoed like a Tuscan etc. I would hope for a bit of imaginative thinking for a car being designed 10 years since the last one.

I like that!

Possibly the new ToyMW - or the much-rumoured but never-appearing new S2000?

Not mental enough for a TVR.

I have neither hints nor names, but consider it good news as they seem to progress.
