"So if anybody thinks they are going to get a car for £55K I'm afraid to disappoint you - you will be able to, but it will be some time before you can do that."
http://www.pistonheads.com/news/tvr-pistonheads/10...

Note - "you will be able to" -
A question for the reveal.. the LE car will cost more, but will a non LE car still be around £55k?

I. Understood that the initial production will be done at GMD facility, factory only required for full production.

Do the guys who have placed deposits have dates to see the car yet?
Yes, the dates are announced, many sessions on 18/19th, 25/26th of march, but individual time-slots are yet to be determined. That process is underway.
You are very lucky individuals, what a treat it is to go to GMD and witness the new car he and his team have designed, it's Britain's last hope for a sports car to outshine the Italian marques!!!!
Last hope - what about McLaren...

They seem to doing a pretty good job lately.

Fair point Alan, but as a seasider l am being biased to my heritage and l still can't believe TVR are bringing a new car out developed by a Legendary F1 car designer, and not PW and his dog ned, which l know is a stretch on the true to the actual dogs design work on the chim rofljester

If the hearsay history of the Chimaera design is correct then the poor old chim is a dog's dinner.

The Chimaera has great pedigree, and I've always thought of mine as a good chum...

That's not entirely true, the Griff "Growl" was always struggling to retrieve new contestants, and were always hounding the chimaera pack.

Portzi, you back on the crack man???? You need to share.... I'm reliably informed much dogging happens here in Narferk... I have no idea what dogging is although I have asked many of the local dog owners, and all but a handful have no idea what I'm talking about... No change there then frown

Yes, I think we have retrieved this thread from those barking hounds. They just needed a pointer to set them in the right direction. I didn't want us to all end up in the doghouse.

Now back to the new TVR: I would weally like to see it wiv a wemoveable woof.
But even without, it should still be a boner fido snarling beast once unleashed! And without the YAP engine of the Cerb, I wonder if it will still wag its' tail when provoked?
