For those of you attending, I hope you have a wonderful time, and will bring with you nothing but good news, for the sake of all who share affection for the marque.

Best regards,
Bernard.

I for one am extreamly excited. I have a deposit on a LE and unlike others eill stick with this. Convertibles for me aren't worth it in the U.K. and it's more to go wrong. Now a targa style could sway me!

For the lucky ones attending the reveal today, it would be interesting to hear your opinions on the new car.
I am down to go next Sunday.

As much as I'd like to hear views I reckon very little info will ensue.

Each deposit holder will hopefully experience the same virgin territory so that the reveal is equally special to each one.

If I was a deposit holder but not going until next week, I would have to delete the Internet! It's bad enough hiding from F1 results biggrin

I think Steve Cropley from Autocar might have been at the reveal this morning, that or this was a pre agreed news release..

The lack of any posts from anyone that's been to the reveal today is telling. Must have been a pretty comprehensive NDA.

Anyway, from the Autocar article today ( https://medlineplus.gov/ency/article/001989.htm):

Anyone able to perhaps "suggest" if any of these images are close representations of the real thing?

must have been over 100 people view today? No one even going to rate the look out of 10?

Last one looks closest to the silhouette of the covered prototype that they showed last time.

The first looks a little too Porsche-esk with the rear light(s), and the middle one looks the best to my eyes, but rear visibility would be awful.

The middle one looks like a cracking evolution of the T350 look. Rear visibility is terrible in a lot of modern cars but they can use cameras these days to resolve that.

I do get the feeling it will not be as striking as that particular sketch but rather much more like the Perana style rendering below it. Which is ok but not wholly my cup of tea.

i think if I'd been a deposit holder and was shown that I'd be disappointed, but then we all like different things.

I do hope it does not look like the third image, which to me looks less interesting than a T350 crossed with a Z4 Coupe. I'm hoping for something with strong styling, something that shouts the core values. Fingers crossed.

I agree, image 3 looks to be playing it too safe. Not aggressive enough. Let's hope the deposit holders were impressed.
