New TVR still under wraps!

The middle one looks like a cracking evolution of the T350 look. Rear visibility is terrible in a lot of modern cars but they can use cameras these days to resolve that.
Agreed. That render looks fantastic. Please pass it to them asap.DonkeyApple said:
I do get the feeling it will not be as striking as that particular sketch but rather much more like the Perana style rendering below it.
Yes, although the Perana has a gorgeous rear end, which would have been a good look to have aimed for.Haven't left the house in days! Merely speculating
I do very much hope that the people at TVR realise that at £90k there are plenty of stunning cars for sale which squish the 400bhp / sub 4.0 sec figures the Autocar article gave. As such, the only way they will succeed is by winning over hearts with an incredibly stunning, bonkers design.
With that in mind, I look forward to seeing the final design, and hope it looks a lot like this:

What I'm picking up is that it looks very similar to the red rendering, a sense of being underwhelmed, that it looks like the G40 in the flesh, and that the rear should look like the second (or any of the) renders, but doesn't!
We're going to have to wait for someone who was there yesterday to build up the courage to come on here and confirm whether your detections are accurate!Whether the deposteers are under or over whelmed, Les and the team will certainly get a lot of feedback over the next couple of weekends. Realistically though how much will they be able to change with the official unveiling only 6 months out?I guess if this time slips by quite some way then it will suggest, amongst many other potential factors, that they've had to get the drawing pencil out again. Having said that, what the hell do I know?!
If the Autocar write up is correct, its going to be a long wait for some very excited prospective owners:
"TVR is also making good progress with a deal over its new factory, expected to be located close to the proposed new Circuit of Wales in Blaenau Gwent. Les Edgar says the company should get the keys to the new place, an existing building converted to its own specification, in the first quarter of next year. Full-scale production will began after a short pilot production phase in the third quarter of 2018."

As Max Boyce once said, 'I was there'.
Chatting to Les Edgar he was clear that what we saw this weekend was the final shape with only the back of the roofline and door button up for grabs, as it were.
Whether the assembled crowds were wowed or not should be interesting…
I liked car. The underfloor aero is very interesting, and depending on how well it works could be a big USPChatting to Les Edgar he was clear that what we saw this weekend was the final shape with only the back of the roofline and door button up for grabs, as it were.

I was a bit underwhelmed by the event though. That could be me, everyone else seemed positive. Weight seems to have crept up a bit, presumably the power will have to, to deliver the oft talked about 400 Bhp per tonne.
