It must be a coincidence that the colour happens to be purple then.
I'm not implying anything,,,, saying what I see, don't you see what I see!
I enjoyed my trip to the fatherland and you can see the pictures I took.
If google maps changes colours by whatever means then fine, but other buildings etc are as you will see with your eyes so why this building.
I couldn't careless if it's trickery or some effect of the light or whatever, I'm not a photographic specialist so yeah I'm sure your right boys.
Oddly the Maps that are installed in my Ipad don't show purple they show blue

So you're implying that LE and his people have managed to pay Google Earth or whoever to change the image?They should have used a thinner brush.
You have to laugh, there's no information on the car, there's no official announcement about the factory, there's no reveal date, there's a bit of guff about a black Cerb with a standard crate engine that probably cost less than my rebuilt AJP8 lump and we seek clarification on the purported factory paint scheme....of its guttering to be exact.

How can maps installed on an iPad show the colour of a building?I can see parked cars and houses and other buildings, grass is green, roads are the correct colours, roofs are the correct colours,
Ok it's a total coincidence then, fair enough.
I've also gone over the village I spent years of my life at, houses etc etc are all the painted colours as they appear in real life, just this one building has this amazing purple that happens to be almost exactly what we associate with Tvr.
has anyone zoomed in on the lines of the roof that are in the picture, then look at the lines on the pictures I took, they look to me to be about a metre wide if you scale them. Explain that then, and the fact the lines look wobbly.
What does it really matter, if Tvr are taking on this building its surely a great thing.

Yep I can see that could be correct. Just throwing it out there.
The buildings to the far left, the jams down the sides are wider than the ones on my pic.
Also the colour purple appears more sharpe compared to the rest IMHO.

The buildings themselves are impressive.
When is the next update about where things stand, I'm assuming the team are grafting away in the background putting all sorts of important parts of the jigsaw together.
All I was pointing out was the fact that that picture mis leads because of that colour, intentional or not.
This is a cracking conspiracy theory. Les has conspired with Google to alter the aerial photography on Google Maps of his new factory in Wales to paint the gutters purple. He hasn't conspired with Bing or Apple or anyone else who provides aerial photography. And no one can think of any reason why he would have done this in the first place, or, if he'd gone to all that trouble, he didn't get the lines straight. Thank goodness ClassiChimi is here to expose this blatant attempt to hoodwink the general public with his investigative nous and sound technical rigour.

Prefer you ask about the car rather than a fruit loop take on Google Earth picture quality . Keeping the tinfoil hat mode going for a bit longer. The other question is, a black Cerb was spotted out up your way recently, is GM piloting the test mule Cerb?
