Hi guys,

I've been lurking the 'for sale' and the forums for a little while now, waiting for a T350T, but there doesn't seem to be any popping up. How often do you guys see them for sale? What kind of price over the C do they go for?

The last one I could see for sale was back in Feb, but didn't have a price on it.

Sold my Exige last year, and I'm dying to get back into something special.

Well it all depends on if the right one comes up really.

Just after a general price of them. I'd imagine they are more expensive then the C?

Hi Luke,

I'd say anywhere between £1k and £4k more than an equivalent Coupe?

There's not nearly as many out there which is why they don't come up as often. There's usually one or two though - out of 21 cars in the classifieds it's unusual for none to be Targas. Just wait patiently, one will come up eventually!

What are your reasons for wanting a Targa over the the Coupe by the way? There are pros and cons to both.

Thanks AOK, thats great, i'll just keep watching then.

They only reason being that I love driving with the roof off really. It will be kept in an underground car park and only used in the summer, so I don't have to worry about it leaking etc.

Do the Targa's have their issues then?

Nothing wrong with T's at all. There's only around 55 left on the road though hence they are much less common in the classifieds than the coupes. Whats your budget?

I commented on this over on the T350 Owners page on facebook the other day. When I was looking just over a year ago there were a number in the classifieds, at least 5 or so. But for the last 6 months hardly any have been for sale. I thought maybe people were waiting for spring for better prices but we are well and truly there!

If you are seriously looking perhaps join the T350 fb page and ask if anyone might be selling. Also worth checking with the usual specialists to see what they might have coming on, rather than waiting for the ad's to get posted up.....

From new the price difference between a C and a T was about £2k I think and until recently that seemed to be the going difference. However, with less coming on the market and their rarity (currently 58 registered on the road) I think that will increase. Perhaps between £3-4k. Although I am biased smile

Some complain of wind noise on the T but for me it always had to have the ability to get some sunshine shining in! Good luck with your search!

Who doesn't want to be able to take the roof off!!!!!smile

You might have more success in the winter months. I suspect anyone selling will use it over the summer, then sell.

However, with that being said, most T350 owners keep theirs long term. I see few of them coming up for sale.

Hi.

As Tony said its probably the rarest TVR with 55-60 available. We have an active FB Group and that's another reason they are kept long term as most of the guys are upgrading them, driving them, restoring them etc. Our group is all about the banter and projects and we have a good community. Good luck trying to find one 1-2k difference in price....Its more like 5k these days. Rarity and the open top experience come with a price tag.

Last time I looked none were for sale on PH smile Several of the guys have sold them through our FB group, as we have several people looking for cars.

Sounds like you need a Tamora instead for proper roof-down driving. Also universally acknowledged to be the best Speed 6 TVR... biggrin

But if you prefer the looks of a T350T then, with the low numbers made, it's going to take a bit longer to find one and cost a bit more.

Definately both groups worth joining and asking if anyone is looking to sell. Glad you like the picture, you probably recognise the view! Good luck in your search.! There is a rumour that Str8six might have an amazing looking green one coming on. See post on fb page. Although it will be top dollar no doubt!
