this year since London Thunder was first held....... there only seems a few videos left on YouTube of the day....... but they reminded of great day, not dampened by the torrential rain before the off from the Ace Café.

Approx 400 TVRs descending on London to show their support for the workers and the brand of the shutting factory.

Me being one of them.

Shame it made no difference to Moleskins, but the workforce appreciated what we were trying to do.

Remember that day well, i had a TVR worker in my car for the journey to whitehall and back.

Unfortunatly had a delayed start from the Ace as i stopped to give a Cerb owner a jump start.

no video but:

Only 3 cars broke down, mostly heat related issues as we rather blocked up central London. Highlight of the days was the ripple down picadilly as every rev'd their cars

I do have some video spread across different formats, that I may pull together one day.

Here are a couple of photos from my compact Digital Camera from the Ace café.

This was a merge of two photos from the roof.

We did it again in 2008, but I think that was a tunnel run/memorial. Met at the Dome, tunnel run, down to wake Mr Brown the PM early and back to the Ace for breakfast

Yes - I see my roof was on.....

....like everyone else.

My passenger was a very quiet chap who was responsible for interiors.... "Would you have done this one?" "Probably" .... and there was a great feeling amongst all the owners and workers getting together!

That's my old Chim alongside and behind the two S's, I'd only had her a week or so before this meet and unbeknown to me the dealer had managed to leave the otter switch disconnected, which I found a couple of days later whilst investigating, so we completed the whole day relying on the leads randomly shorting out to get the fans running ................ live and learn rolleyes Great memories though thumbup

And my grey Chimaera next to it smile and an identical grey one next to it. The only time I have ever seen another one in the same colour.
