It depends upon how you look at it - we use our car for travelling / touring, and hence the folding hood section is great value ( to us), as it allows us to have LOADS more boot space available when we have luggage onboard.

For us, its been a great piece of kit that's allowed Mrs Bomb plenty of luggage for her holidays, and allows me to get the roof off whenever I like.

I'm with Bomb on that one, the value is in enabling roof off driving when touring. The down side for me was that Roger Morris did not want to take responsibility for the poor alignment of the fabric glued to the rear section. For £500 I would have expected some help but as you can see from this thread I had to engineer a solution myself, thankfully others with the same issue have followed along and fixed there's too.

I too am with the above two. The ease of storage and extra space is the value.
